Never went in for yoga before. always thought it was not for me. my friemd visited yoga classes and told me that yoga changed his life. but actually he could not explain in what way it did it.
Namaste and welcome. Chantal is the founder of Yoga is Life. While dancing and performing theatre Chantal was introduced to yoga. She experienced yoga as a nice and special warming-up in which you simultaneously extend your muscles, enhance your physical strenght, manage your weight and find better ways to relax. Chantal got more into yoga and eventually qualified herself as a Yoga teacher in Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga and Kids Yoga.
She studied many forms of yoga with unknown and well-known teachers, but chose to specialize in Vinyasa Yoga. This is a fluid but precise, dynamic yet relaxed, method that incorporates the breath as a focus in moving meditation.
All her classes will be held at Soulful Studio in Amsterdam. The classes are relatively small, maximum 8 students. This way she can focus on quality instead of quantity in a intimate atmosphere. In the classes she is focusing on relaxation, stillness of the mind and physical strength.
Chantal is inspired by Shiva Rea, Edward Clark, Katiza Satya, Guruiji Pattabi Jois, Max Strom and many other great teachers.
Her mission is to spread fun, love, and healing through the power of Yoga.
